Discover how Cal Franc came about and where it comes from.
Cal Franc opened its doors in November 2011 at the Port of Mataró, eager to offer quality Mediterranean cuisine at a price accessible to everyone.
Since the beginning we have specialised in rice dishes and traditional plates, always made with fresh, local produce. Although we are also known for great vermouths.
We offer set menus both on weekdays and at weekends, designed for every taste.
Although we are currently at the Port of Mataró, our origins go back to Carrer Irlanda, where Cal Franc was born.

Our company, based in Mataró, has been working for more than 25 years with a firm commitment to sustainability.
We bet on a responsible model that includes:
